Melissa was first introduced to Pilates as a cross training regiment for her dance education. While performing in Denver, she connected to the official STOTT PILATES Corporate Training Center in 2008. There, she became a certified STOTT Pilates Instructor. Throughout her professional dance career, her Pilates practice assisted her in maintaining a strong, healthy alignment as well as rehabilitating her body during injuries.
Melissa believes that Pilates is for everyone and enjoys creating a welcoming environment that focuses on helping clients improve their level of health and wellness. Her experiences with injury prevention and her passion for Pilates help her to create fun and challenging workouts for clients from all backgrounds.
Beth is committed to sharing her passion for health and fitness with the Iowa community and has been training people of various ages, backgrounds and physical abilities for the past 14 years. In addition to being a certified STOTT Pilates mat instructor, group fitness instructor, water aerobics instructor, and spin instructor, she is the owner and head personal trainer of BePureFit Training. Beth received her Bachelors in Exercise Science from the University of Northern Iowa.
Beth is a proud momma of two beautiful children. When she isn't spending time with her kiddos or teaching, you can find her trying new workouts, hiking, paddle boarding, or doing yoga and pilates.
Beth loves creating a full body workout class atmosphere that is challenging, open to all abilities, adaptable, full of energy and enjoyable.
Abby is a Stott Pilates trained reformer teacher, a 200 hour certified yoga teacher and lifelong dancer. Her extensive study of anatomy and focus on establishing a healthy movement foundation for each student is reflected in her teaching. Good music, emphasis on proper breathing and instruction in mindful awareness contribute to an overall experience of well-being that extends beyond the studio and into daily life.
Kelly is a Body Precision Program certified Pilates instructor. She was first introduced to Pilates as a health tool to help cope with the many aches, pains, and imbalances she faces daily from living with chronic health conditions such as Crohn's Disease. After one session, she was hooked and instantly knew that she wanted to become certified to teach in order to share this method with others.
Kelly absolutely loves getting to introduce the Pilates method of movement to new students. Whether clients have a regular Pilates practice or are looking to give it a try for the first time, her class doors are open. She enjoys watching her clients growth within the Pilates method. Kelly believes that Pilates is truly for any and everybody and can be adaptable and beneficial to all.
